Using Microsoft Dynamics SL for core accounting, PetroCycle is a module created to address the unique needs of the Petroleum Wholesale industry. Businesses in this vertical are involved in the sale of wholesale fuel and heating products such as propane, oil and kerosene. PetroCycle is the data entry point for entering BOLs for consignment and dealer sites, routing with degree day for home and commercial heating, and fast credit checking with a function to manage past due accounts. Office efficiency is enhanced by import of rack prices and credit card payment information from outside sources such as DTN and major oil sites. Inventory and purchasing are available for other services and products offered by the company. Lubricants, HVAC systems, residential gas logs and gas water heaters, auto parts and detailing are examples of these additional services. PetroCycle has a unique place in this vertical market as one of the only systems offering the flexibility of a custom fit to each client operation.
