Operating system versions that are supported for Microsoft Dynamics SL
This question frequently comes up. Here is a list of the operating system versions that are supported for specific versions of Microsoft Dynamics SL.

Information on using Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 SP1 with SQL Server 2008 
SL 7.0 SP1 is supported on SQL Server 2008, but you will need to apply a few hot fixes and be aware of a potential issue with the Database Maintenance screen...

Using Microsoft Dynamics SL Business Portal with Internet Explorer 8.0 
Internet Explorer 8.0 will work with Business Portal, but it is recommended to view the Business Portal site in Compatibility Mode.

Error in Microsoft Dynamics SL Business Portal After Installing Windows Update
After installing Windows updates, you may receive a "Attachment: Maximum retry on the connection exceeded" error on the project pages in Business Portal. See the steps needed to correct this situation.

How to connect multiple Microsoft Solomon application databases to multiple instances of Project Server when the Project Server instances are on the same computer.  This involves modifying the registry, so be sure to make a back-up before making changes!

JAAS - Product Configurator is a rules-based system that defines features and options and enforces rules for configurations of manufactured and distributed products. It provides the ability to configure items multiple ways, reducing the number of inventory ID’s for each item. The JAMS Product Configurator can function as a stand-alone module or be part of the JAMS manufacturing suite.
