What’s The Next Big Opportunity for
Microsoft Dynamics® SL
Partners?
Microsoft Dynamics SL Partners are part of a
great tradition of innovative solutions for small and mid-sized
businesses, going back to the “hey-days” of Solomon Software. From flexibility in customization to strong project
management, Microsoft Dynamics SL Partners have enjoyed a long
history of being able to provide their clients with the latest
developments that have lead the new way for others to follow.
But what’s next on the horizon? What’s the next
step for Microsoft Dynamics SL Partners who want to diversify and
expand their reach to their current clients, and extend their
solutions to new prospects?
It’s time to take a serious
look at Plumbline Solutions’ sister company, Six Disciplines,
founded by a familiar name to Dynamics SL Partners, Gary Harpst (the
original co-founder of Solomon Software.)

Did you know that Microsoft Dynamics SL 6.5
SP3 contains a compilation of hot fixes,
including a new one for VBA to correct Errors 20004 and 20406, plus
support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008? Additionally, this
update can be installed over the existing client - no need to
uninstall/reinstall. (Customers can download SP3
here.)
2009 Hot Topic: The signon
screen may not appear or crash with error:
"system.accessviolationexception" after installing .NET 3.5 with
Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 or 7.0 SP1. (This may get installed by
running windows update, installing SQL 2008, or installing a number
of other programs that make use of .NET 3.5.) A hotfix is available
on
CustomerSource and
PartnerSource. The problem is also corrected with service pack 2
and with feature pack. See Knowledge Base Article
961802 for more information.
Microsoft Office Project 2007 Server and
Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 together provide a great way to
manage the project status, resources and the revenue and expense of
your projects. Read about the
new connector that makes this possible.
