I'm very excited about the SL Shared Booth we will be hosting this year at Convergence.  Having a concentration of SL add-on solutions represented in one central location should provide lots of synergy and excitement, and we are pleased at the number of ISVs that will be participating! If you haven't taken a look at this opportunity yet, please do - we still have room for a few more!  Even if you don't join us in the SL Shared Booth, be sure to come by to say hello and let your customers know that they can find information about SL solutions at the Expo! 

For those of you attending Convergence, you may also want to take advantage of advertising in our Convergence issue to drive additional booth attendance.  Free advertising is provided to those participating in the SL Shared Booth Program.

Dynamics SL and the Government Contracting sector  

Dynamics SL is a great fit for Government Contracting organizations due to the depth of its strong project management capabilities. While attending the Microsoft Government Contract Summit in December, several SL Partners provided presentations showing how SL can meet the rigorous reporting, audit and compliance demands of government businesses.

A recent article published in a magazine for government contractors, the "WashingtonTechnology", provides an interesting analysis of the market, Microsoft's plan to go after a larger share of these businesses, and a discussion on how the Dynamics SL and NAV products match the needs of this industry. A representative from Deltek, the largest software vendor serving this sector today, states that Dynamics SL is the closest fit to what they offer with their proprietary system. [Read More].
