What do I do if I have a Microsoft Solomon batch that is suspended and will not release? Use the results of QC_Data_Check, APDebug, or ARDebug to troubleshoot the batch problem. Open Microsoft SQL Server Query Analyzer and follow the steps below. Using SQL Server 2000: 1. In Query Analyzer, select the appropriate application database. 2. Click Tools, click Options, and then click Results. 3. In Default results target, select Results to Text. 4. In Results output format, select Tab Delimited. 5. Click OK. Using SQL Server 7.0: 1. In Query Analyzer, select the appropriate application database. 2. Click Query, and then click Current Connection Options. 3. Click the Advanced tab. 4. In Result Output Format, select Tab Delimited. 5. Click OK 6. Click Query, and then click Results in Text. For suspended Accounts Payable batches, run the following query against the Microsoft Solomon application database in Query Analyzer: APDebug ‘xxxxxx’ For suspended Accounts Receivable batches, run the following query against the application database: ARDebug ‘xxxxxx’ For suspended Inventory batches, run the following query against the application database: QC_Data_Check ‘xxxxxx’, ‘yyyy’ If you are not sure what the company ID is, running the following SELECT statement will provide it: SELECT CpnyID from GLSETUP After you run a query, save the results so they can be reviewed in Microsoft Excel. To do this, click in Results (the lower pane in Query Analyzer), go to the File menu, and then click Save As. Enter a file name, leave the default extension of .rpt, and then click Save. Open the results file in Microsoft Excel to troubleshoot the batch.
