Fixed Header/Columns within the Time entry screen in Business Portal

This solution allows time to be entered within Business Portal while allowing the user the capability of having a fixed header and columns. This is a must for those individuals entering time that want to have easier data entry and yet want the ability to confirm the corresponding data and required fields without scrolling.

Condense Timecard Entry

This solution condenses the spacing on the Web Project Timecard Entry page so that more lines are visible. Typically only about 5 lines are visible; condensing allows about 10 lines to be displayed (depending on user's screen resolution).

Display Daily Comments

This solution modifies the Web Project Timecard page so that if a day has hours but there is not a Daily Comment added, then the background color is displayed as yellow and uses NC (New Comment) instead of C.  If the day has hours and a Comment, then the background color is left as the default and uses EC (Existing Comment) instead of C.

Require Daily Comments

This solution requires that each day with hours has a Daily Invoice Comment before the Timecard can be set to Completed.

Display Daily Comments on Print This Timecard option

In the Web Project Timecard page, if an employee selects the Print this Timecard option, the Timecard Comments do not display.  With this solution, the comments will display.

Save Timecard if minimum number of hours has not been met

This solution will prevent a Project Employee from setting their Timecard status to Completed is they have not entered in the minimum number of hours as specified in their Employee settings.

Minimum hours per week day

       Minimize Errors!

This solution calculates the number of days in the week (Mon-Fri) and multiplies that by 8 hours.  If the employee entering the time in Web Project Timecard is not a Subcontractor and the amount of time is equal or greater to the calculated hours for that week, then this customization allows them to set the status to Completed.

Display the Project and/or Task Description

This solution adds a field to in the Web Project Timecard page to display the Project and/or Task Description on the line item.

Manager Timecard Status

This solution allows a Manager and/or Supervisor to see the status of their employee's timecards.

Project Timecard Approval Delegation

With this solution, if an Approver is not available to approve timecards in Document Approval, their Manager can set themselves as the Approver.  The Manager is then able to go into the Document Approval page in Business Portal and approve the Timecards. The system will make the required adjustments and return with the total number of Timecards that are now waiting in the Supervisors Document Approval page.

Project List Favorites

This solution shows a list of the user's projects when using the PV for Projects in Business Portal.  This customization adds three option buttons:  Default, Common 15 and Last 15.  Based on the User's Timecards, the user will be able to quickly find their projects that they commonly use or have used recently.

Time Proxies

The Timecard Proxy solution allows an employee’s manager to enter their timecard into Business Portal for them.  The manager is also allowed to make corrections to a timecard to expedite the approval of a rejected timecard.
