Gary Harpst - Chairman

As founder and chairman of Plumbline Solutions, Gary took the initiative to ensure that the Solomon product line would continue to survive and thrive. By starting Plumbline Solutions, Gary and the leadership team were able to retain the intellectual capital that originally developed Solomon, and continue to enhance and extend Solomon and related solutions.

In the fall of 2000, Gary started a new Findlay-based company, Six Disciplines Corporation. He spent almost a year talking with small business owners and other experts to research the needs of small businesses and explore ways to leverage the latest technologies to meet those needs. He is the author of "Six Disciplines For Excellence: Building Small Businesses That Learn, Lead and Last".

Prior to Plumbline Solutions and Six Disciplines, Gary was a co-founder of Solomon Software and led that organization for twenty years. In twenty years, Solomon installed more than 60,000 systems in small and medium-sized businesses around the world and grew to be one of the industry leaders in its market.

Gary was named four times to the "Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting" by Accounting Today magazine, and holds an honorary Doctorate from University of Findlay.
