In the fall of 2000, Gary started a new Findlay-based company, Six Disciplines Corporation. He spent almost a year talking with small business owners and other experts to research the needs of small businesses and explore ways to leverage the latest technologies to meet those needs. He is the author of "Six Disciplines For Excellence: Building Small Businesses That Learn, Lead and Last". Prior to Plumbline Solutions and Six Disciplines, Gary was a co-founder of Solomon Software and led that organization for twenty years. In twenty years, Solomon installed more than 60,000 systems in small and medium-sized businesses around the world and grew to be one of the industry leaders in its market. Gary was named four times to the "Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting" by Accounting Today magazine, and holds an honorary Doctorate from University of Findlay. Eric S. Kurjan – Board Member Most recently, Eric was President of Plumbline Solutions, Inc. In this role, Eric had overall responsibility for working with the Senior Leaders and Team Members to ensure the mission, values and goals of Plumbline were met. To accomplish this, under Eric’s leadership, Plumbline became one of the first clients of Six Disciplines. Prior to joining Plumbline, Eric was the general
manager of the North American Professional Services organization for Microsoft
Corporation, Microsoft® Business Solutions division. As general manager he led a
team of more than 500 professionals providing services to partners and customers
in the areas of consulting, technical support, and product education and
training. With 20 years in the industry, Eric's knowledge of partners, customers
and team members is key to ensuring strong business performance and
organizational integration. Eric spearheaded the critical re-engineering of the company’s Technical Support Department and the highly successful launch of its award-winning, market-leading Solomon IV® for the Windows® operating system accounting product. He was also instrumental in negotiating the details of the acquisition of Solomon Software by Great Plains in 2000. Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami
