Various Business Portal errors

When installing Business Portal for Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 or 7.0 SP1, you may receive the following error:

One or more companies defined in the database (Databasename) on server (Servername) do not meet requirements. Each company listed in the system database must have a corresponding company database. In addition, the Microsoft Dynamics SL version must be 7.0.

If the error is ignored, you may then get the following errors:

Error 1:
The application cannot open the application database.
Cannot open database "SLDemoApp60" requested by the login. The login failed.
Contact System Administrator

Error 2:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e14'
Could not find stored procedure 'pjcommun_spk3w_Co'.

Error 3:
Server Error in '/' Application.
