Restrictions on Dynamics SL database names

Did you know that SQL Server imposes some restrictions on the naming of databases?  Some of the "no-go" rules include:

• Database names cannot exceed 20 characters
• Database names cannot begin with a number
• Database names cannot contain special alpha characters.
